Top Ten Songs Covered by Phish

phishsimpsons-300x255.jpgPhilly goes Phishing tonight!

We welcome the traveling circus of noodle jams and rampant drug abuse with open arms and a psychedelic haze.  Rumor has it that the band has dispensed with its penchant for covers during the current tour.  Nothing but originals on the setlist for this evening.

But don’t worry.  We’ve got you covered (terrible pun intended).  Here are our nominees for the Top Ten cover songs in the Phish repertoire.  We’re open to suggestions, and we know you’ll have plenty of them.  But remember, it should be significant, something committed to an official recording or performed on multiple occasions.  Don’t tell me about the time they covered “Smoke on the Water” at your cousin’s pool party in 1984.

See you on Shakedown Street tonight!
